We had a wonderful time on the farm! We (2 adults) visited Ambeldale 2 years ago and were delighted to return this summer. It's wonderful to be around animals (sheep) in a picturesque setting. The flowers, garden, trees, and lovely landscape are a treat to look at and relax in. The cozy cabin supplies everything you need (minus your food/cooler of course) and you can spend your time gazing at the sparkling stars and breathing in fresh air. Reayane is a fantastic host! The property is peaceful, calm and an all-around fantastic getaway. We can't wait to return for round 3!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ambledale. It was a perfect 2 day mini vacation. The cottages are very clean, comfortable and everything you could ask for while enjoying a peaceful time on the island. Close to Ruckle Park but very quiet. Enjoyed the farm animals too. Love the outdoor kitchen. Will definitely book again next summer

We have just returned from a fabulous time here! It is in a stunning location and the house is beautiful both inside and out. We had everything we needed and enjoyed chats with Reayane. The sheep are very sweet and the land has beautiful flower gardens and ponds. Would highly recommend!

Quiet, Private, Beautiful surroundings.

Ambledale Farms is a unique property that has been farmed for over 150 years.  It faces southwest, has rolling hills, hay fields, a forest and two large organic gardens.  A flock of about 25 sheep freely roam the farm.  From the months of March to August, lambs will be seen bouncing and hopping around. During your visit, you are free to roam the farm, explore the forest, admire all four ponds scattered throughout the property and visit with the sheep.  If you want to explore beyond our 40+ acres, you can hop over our fence and enjoy the hiking trails in Ruckle Park.

Our rustic cottages are a great place to chill out, give yourself a retreat and enjoy being in a quiet peaceful setting.  They have natural and battery powered lighting, an outdoor cooking and eating area as well as a private outhouse.

I provide:  dishes, bedding and towels, pots and pans, utensils and other kitchen items.   There are bins for washing dishes, racks for drying them, and a good camp stove.  Propane is supplied.

You bring: your food, a cooler, along with the desire to unwind, unplug and enjoy nature.

Hop on your bike leaving your camping gear at home or drive in and enjoy some R&R.

Regular costs are:
$150 per night based on 2 person occupancy.
A one-time cleaning fee of $50.
If given permission to bring your dog, an extra $40 cleaning fee is required.
